Notes from the Artist:
|
This piece depicts the head of a Sandhill Crane during migration, with the beak pointed skyward. The eye is surrounded by an abstract skeleton key design that carries down to the red patch which is apparant on the back of the Sandhill's head during migration. The throat feathers in white crackle glaze adorn the right bottom side of the piece.
